Creative Outpost Colourist Alexandre Nerzic is helping shape a new visual language across commercial and music content, bringing a bold, contemporary approach to colour that has quickly earned industry recognition. He has quickly become the go-to colourist for some of the UK’s biggest rap artists, with some of the biggest names in music increasingly choosing to work with him in person in the suite to shape the final look together.
His work has received nominations for Young British Arrows Colourist and the Shark Awards Best New Colourist, while his portfolio spans campaigns for Burger King, Arsenal FC, Aston Martin, Sweaty Betty, Very, Mentos and BBC productions. Alongside commercial work, Alexandre has graded projects for some of the world's biggest music artists, including Stormzy, Dave, Skepta, Central Cee, Burna Boy, Tems, Wizkid, RAYE, YUNGBLUD, Anne Marie and Craig David.
Speaking on his favourite projects, Alexandre highlighted his work on Manors Club Collection, Arsenal FC’s ‘Corner of Arsenal’, Artemas ‘I Love The Way You Kiss Me’ and GTR Southern’s ‘The Day We Saw A Flying Whale’.
Originally from France, Alexandre relocated to London ten years ago, drawn by the city's creative energy and world leading post production industry. Alexandre began his career as a runner before quickly progressing through the ranks, developing both his technical understanding and creative instinct along the way. Today, he has become one of the UK's leading colourists while continuing to bring a distinctly European visual sensibility to his work.
The colourist’s work for Creative Outpost spans everything from fashion and sport to music, documentary and global advertising campaigns. Whether working alongside clients in Fitzrovia or grading remotely with filmmakers around the world, Alexandre has developed a reputation for building trusted creative relationships that often continue long after the first project has wrapped. Recent collaborations include multiple Arsenal campaigns with director Marc Sidelsky, who credits Alexandre's ability to instinctively understand his creative vision as a key part of their ongoing partnership.
Working alongside Creative Outpost’s Head of Colour Mark Horrobin and fellow Colourist Jack Caswell, Alexandre forms part of a grading team that brings three distinct creative perspectives under one roof. At Creative Outpost, the emphasis is not on creating a recognisable house style, but on finding the visual language that best serves each story, whether that's a fashion film, commercial, music video or long form production.
Creative Outpost Colourist Alexandre Nerzic said: "My approach is a blend of technical experience and gut instinct, but to never let my emotions drive the grade too much. You have to trust your instincts to make a picture look good, but if you let your feelings completely take over, you risk losing your objectivity. I always keep in mind the initial vision of the DOP and Director from their references.”
Alexandre adds: “I love manually recreating LUTs and looks, you learn so much more than just relying on a preset.”
Away from the grading suite, Alexandre is as curious about cinema and visual culture as he is about the technical craft itself. An avid reader with a passion for film history, he continues to draw inspiration from photography, literature and the everyday world around him, influences that shape the colour palettes and emotional tone of his work.
For Creative Outpost, Alexandre reflects the studio's commitment to nurturing the next generation of creative craft alongside some of the industry's most experienced artists, ensuring clients benefit from fresh perspectives, collaborative thinking and a creative home where exceptional talent continues to thrive.
